Unwinding Myself At The Wonderful National Part In Makkah: Thanks To Singapore Airlines!

Surgeons and doctors certainly have to deal with a tough and hectic life schedule. Getting work related calls in the odd hours of the night is quite common for surgeons. On the top of that, as a cardiac surgeon I obviously have to deal with a lot of pressure on day to day basis. For this reason, sometimes it becomes necessary to unwind yourself. With the same purpose, last month I decided to take a break from my work and went on a solo trip to Makkah, or Mecca.

From Pune to Makkah, the journey was really a memorable one for me. However, there is no direct flight from Pune to Makkah; so, I had to go to Mumbai in order to catch a flight to this beautiful city in Saudi Arabia. From Mumbai, there are countless flights to Saudi Arabia on daily basis, and owing to the rave reviews in the online sites, I had chosen Singapore Airlines. Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport is the nearest airport to Makkah.

Flying from Mumbai to Jeddah

The flight was at 2PM and after collecting the boarding pass and completing the security check, finally I was inside the flight. During those 4 hours and 50 minutes, I didn’t feel any kind of discomfort or uneasiness as there was entertainment options. After reaching Jeddah, I took a cab from the taxi stand outside the airport, and it was a ride of almost an hour.

I do love staying at luxury hotels, and for this reason, the Hilton Suites Makkah was my first choice. Located at Ibrahim Al Khali Road, this 5-star hotel leaves everyone speechless with its flawless services. From the luxurious interiors to the lip-smacking cuisines, everything about this hotel was absolutely exciting and satisfying to me.

Saiysad National Park- a must check out place for fun lovers

When it comes to shedding away the stress accumulated due to work pressure then for me nothing works better than spending few hours on the lap of nature. For the same reason, I had selected this tourist attraction in my list of must check out places in Makkah. Even though I had been to a number of national parks in Maharashtra and rest of the parts of India, the Saiysad National Park impressed me in many ways.

The cleanliness around and the way animals were being treated at this huge national park really made me feel happy from inside. The richness of this park lies in its assortment of wildlife. While the wildlife area is quite far from the front section of the park, but the management has done a tremendous job in keeping the plan as interesting as possible.

The front region of the park provided me a glimpse of the culture of Saudi Arabia, and there were numbers of recreational activities to take part in. No doubt, the Saiysad National Park is a wonderful place for the kids, where they can have tons of fun.

It took me about 5 to 6 hours in order to explore the entire park. There were some good food stalls and restaurants around, and I did try some authentic Saudi cuisines to pamper my taste buds. All in all it was a beautiful trip to a holy land with lots of memories!
